Amelia Fiona Jessica Driver, later nicknamed Minnie, was born in 1970 in London, England. She was raised in Barbados until the age of 6, when she was sent to live at a boarding school in Hampshire.

Even in school, Minnie always had an interest in acting. She attended the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art and started appearing in TV advertisements in the early 90s before moving on to television shows.

Prior to moving to Hollywood, Minnie was more focused on her singing career than acting. She released her first album in 2004 and received a lot of positive feedback from her fans, particularly in the UK.

In 1995, Minnie made her onscreen debut in the film Circle of Friends. She is best known for her role in Good Will Hunting and was even considered to play the lead in James Cameron’s Titanic.
