The Zen of John Cage 

A book based upon the Zen Buddhist beliefs of experimental composer John Cage through the Zen stories he told. Includes an introduction on Zen storytelling and how this form of storytelling differs from the western style. The book includes vellum overlays, that were hand sewn into the binding. The overlays function as a timeline of John Cage's life, as to include his life story as well. The timeline segment of his life coincides with the stories it overlays.
