I designed Sorapot because I wanted to create a perfect window onto the process of tea leaves unfurling as they steep. The mesh filter between the front of the tube and the spout keeps leaves out of your cup while allowing them to circulate throughout the entire tube. This gives them plenty of room to unfurl, enhancing your tea's flavor. Sorapot is made from investment-cast stainless steel (the same process used to make both fine jewelry and aircraft components)
