UI Designer (and so much more).

FILTER is seeking a versatile UI Designer to work onsite for a 3 month (plus) contract position in Redmond. To land this gig you need to have finely tuned Photoshop and Illustrator skills, plus strong knowledge of Flash and ActionScript. We're looking for a prototyper who can focus on menus, icons, buttons and tabs and who is familiar with rapid design techniques. In this position, you'll actively collaborate with the marketing team on an array of projects.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
* Prototyping features for a widely used and universal product
* Creating marketing banners, illustrations
* Hand-sketching
* Illustration of User Assistance documentation with diagrams, visuals, etc.
* Improving the look and feel of certain web experiences, marketing landing pages
* Designing posters
* Storyboarding the user experience, screen-by-screen

SKILLS YOU’LL NEED
* Extremely sharp knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
* Strong knowledge of Flash, ActionScript
* Ability to prototype- no coding necessary
* Some hand-drawing / sketching abilities
* Some degree of web and print experience
* Familiarity with rapid design techniques
* Project management skills a plus
* Ability to work onsite and collaborate with team members
* Comfortable with “over the shoulder collaboration”
