Job Description:

Coolbirth is a boutique creative agency located in DUMBO Brooklyn with expertise in branding, communications design and advertising. Since 2001, we have been creating print, interactive and broadcast media for lifestyle brands and entertainment properties.

We are looking for talented and versatile UI designer. The position is freelance but can easily parlay into full-time. We offer creative work in gifted environment for top brands.

Ideal candidates are people with exuberance for all things multimedia, at least 2 - 5 years experience, and a love of working in various disciplines. Candidates should be organized, self-motivated, able to successfully manage and meet deadlines.

Skills Required:
- contemporary design sensibility (color, form, typography & layout)
- Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong experience designing for HTML and Flash web projects

Skills Preferred (but not mandatory):
- 3D experience (Cinema 4D, Maya, etc.)
- HTML coding
- Proficient in Flash / Action Script
- Animation (Flash, After Effects)
- Knowledge of XHTML and CSS (web standards)
- Familiarity with MySQL, PHP
- Brand/Identity design and illustration
