I was born under a social and political system where the only propaganda I got to watch or read was governmental. I did not have access to other types of advertising and these promotions were called “diversionismo ideologico”.
We were not allowed to watch commercials and the only source of this kind of thing was in old magazines from the 40s and fifties that our grandparents used to collect. That’s how I can be familiar with 1930, 40's and 50s style of advertising. I learned how to love it and appreciate it. I believe my favorite time was the 30´s with a sense of art deco to it.
