Thesis professor: Do you know Behnish?
Jenny: No should I?
Thesis professor: Yes, he’s one of my old professors, your work reminds me of his.
*Jenny leaves crit, looks online at Behnish Architekten’s website*
Jenny: Holy crud
This German firm, started by Gunter Behnisch and known for the Munich Olympics, now has offices internationally. They have a unique approach to design that addresses urban and landscape needs as well as places to live, work, and play.
In both urban and suburban context we recognize the inherent contribution of the landscape in enhancing both our architecture and the immediate micro-climate, benefiting not only the building themselves but both the occupants and visitors.
I think I’ve found a good source for my precedent studies...
