Mary Doyle

I am very inspired by the work of my friend Mary Doyle. She's a fine artist and designer. She uses toys and carnival themes to great extent and always with a somewhat sinister undertone. I think her own words best describe her work:

"In my artwork toys convey issues of emotional life and the ways society encourages detachment from emotional experience."
