Otl (Otto) Aicher (1922-1991)
Since the logo for the 2012 Olympics in London stirred up so much discussion…its interesting to look back on the work of Otl Aicher.
German designer, educator and writer, Otl Aicher is probably best remembered for his Lufthansa identity, Rotis typeface and his work on the visual systems for the 1972 Olympics (an unfortunate year).
