Today I felt a little bit ethnocentric. I needed to flip through Monocle’s article ”The World’s Top 20 Most Liveable Cities” twice, convinced I must've missed the feature on New York City (or atleast one other city in the continental United States). But considering I'm not very well traveled, I am in no place to judge. I've only visited one of the twenty cities that made the list (and for only a day).
Munich came out on top of the list, and German writer William Boston proposes a convincing argument. And the winning city is design friendly, with a testimonial from Munich based graphic designer Christian Hundertmark.
When can I move? Just kidding. I still love NYC.
If you haven't checked out Monocle magazine yet, I highly recommend it.
