I hadn't ever heard of Scott Hansen until a couple years ago. His work is amazing. I pulled some photos that I adore. But I adore them in a sort of, nostalgic, pensive, melancholy way. They provoke these emotions within me, and although they're beautiful: the colors, casting light, vibrancy, sense of loneliness or hope, I almost can't look at them for very long. I'm sure there's a deeper psychology behind that, but I dare not go there, today.
