Kevin Sweeney’s inspiration
iTunes Coldplay TV Spot
I'm not that big of a fan of Coldplay anymore, but this commercial is so well done that I had no choice but to get excited. The concept is nothing new, but the execution is so absolutely perfect that it is every bit as effective as the very first iPod ad (everything in the middle isn't worth mentioning in my book). The lighting, rhythm, timing, everything is there. A wondeful marriage of audio, video, and motion graphics!

Jill Greenberg
I've been a fan of Jill's work for years—I just never knew it until I stumbled upon her site looking for Flash inspiration! The first instance in which I came across her work was her "End Times" series, which featured painterly portraits of crying children.
The next instance occurred this past fall after I had moved to NYC. I distinctly remember seeing posters for the newest season of "Dexter" and thinking "Wow—this is the greatest photo I have EVER seen in an advertisement!"
Be it personal or commercial, Jill has an amazing gift for portrait photography.
