Maia Valenzuela’s inspiration

Corinna Radcliffe

Corinna describes her work as "vibrant, feminine and full of pattern" - modesty has kept her from stating the obvious - it is also very beautiful.

Work usually starts off by hand, whether it's drawing in line using her favourite pencil (a Zebra Pencil 0.5) or collaging shapes and patterns together using cut paper and the photocopier. These elements are then always transferred to the computer where the image is taken through different stages to what we see as the end result.

Much of Corinna's inspiration comes from her travels which include Cuba, Thailand and Morocco, where she draws from the imagery and pattern found in the temples and the Islamic patterns seen all over Morocco.

Lotus Eater is Emma Sky.

She is somewhat of a “renegade” in Japanese personal CG sites as her art is very uniform, (always 400×400 pixel canvases, 128 color gif) and has a touch of realism.

Born in 1980, passed FM802 art audition in 2004. Got involved in Shinsaibashi Sony Tower exhibition. Did visuals for FM802 live event, "Song letters" at Osaka-jo hall. Draws monochromatic female images that uses both clean, delicate lines and daring compositions. Carefully details hair styles and costumes which makes the drawings very fashionable.
