Before I knew who Chip Kidd and Chris Ware were, I was reading novels and short stories by Haruki Murakami. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve read by Murakami. But Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World started my addiction, and will probably remain my favorite book.
